Our Programmes

The Happiness Project
Meeting every Monday morning, The Happiness Project is a supportive programme focused on improving the overall wellbeing of the women involved. Each week features a themed workshop exploring aspects of physical health, mental wellbeing, or financial confidence. The group provides a space where women can set personal goals, share experiences, and encourage one another along the way. By working together, members build healthy habits, grow in confidence, and take positive steps toward a stronger, more balanced future.

Men's Wellbeing Group
Meeting every Monday afternoon the Men’s Wellbeing Group offers a relaxed, supportive space where members can enjoy a wide range of activities. From wellbeing workshops to trips to local places of interest, with plenty of food-focused sessions for the group’s enthusiastic eaters. The Men have a varied timetable recently completing the Level 2 BCPP programme in partnership with CDHN, this programme works closely with the local Boots pharmacist to support men’s health. Our Men’s group is focused on combating isolation, building confidence, and growing connection within the community.

Moments for Me
Meeting every Tuesday, this programme offers a warm and supportive space for women to come together, build connections, and focus on their overall wellbeing. With a varied mix of activities, the programme blends mindful crafting, wellness-focused sessions, and opportunities for conversation and shared experiences.
Participants can explore a wide range of creative activities—from sewing and jewellery making to knitting and decorative crafts—with all materials provided and no prior experience needed. Alongside this, the programme includes guest speakers, occasional trips, and wellbeing activities designed to support confidence, relaxation, and personal growth.
It’s a friendly, uplifting environment where women can connect, learn new skills, and enjoy meaningful moments of creativity and support together.

Our Stitches, Our Stories
Running on Tuesday afternoons, Our Stitches, Our Stories is a creative and reflective programme that celebrates women’s personal journeys. Each participant designs a unique fabric square representing a meaningful part of their story—capturing experiences, memories, and identity through creativity. As the weeks progress, these individual pieces are brought together to form a beautiful collective quilt, which will be professionally framed as a lasting piece of shared artwork. The group offers a calm, expressive space for connection, storytelling, and creativity.

Buddleia Group
Meeting every Wednesday morning the Buddleia Group brings together a wonderfully mixed age range of participants for weekly wellness activities and peer support. Named after the buddleia plant — known for attracting butterflies and symbolising growth, transformation, and connection — the group offers a welcoming space where people can learn, reflect, and support one another. Each week features a varied programme designed to boost wellbeing, build confidence, and strengthen community bonds.

Untuned Talent
Untuned Talent is an all-ability singing group that meets every Wednesday afternoon. This high-energy group of women sing purely for fun and wellbeing — no experience needed and no pressure to be pitch-perfect. Laughter is just as important as the music, and each session is filled with joy, confidence-building, and the simple pleasure of singing together in a supportive, feel-good environment.

Sunflower Group
Meeting every Thursday morning at Antrim Community Support Hub, the Sunflower Group is a warm, supportive friendship and wellness group. They chose the name “Sunflower” because sunflowers naturally turn toward the light, a symbol of positivity, resilience, and growth. That spirit is reflected in the group’s culture: members lift one another up, stay connected, and create a safe, encouraging space for everyone. Each week they enjoy a mix of wellness activities, conversation, and connection designed to support overall wellbeing.

Wellbeing Wednesday (Evening Group)
Wellbeing Wednesday group meets every week offering a welcoming space for women who work or have caring responsibilities that make daytime groups hard to attend. This gentle, supportive group focuses on self-care, connection, and friendship — giving participants the chance to carve out a little time for themselves amidst busy family life. Each session encourages relaxation, reflection, and wellbeing, helping women recharge and build meaningful connections with others.

Moments of Joy
Moments of Joy is a reflective gratitude group that meets monthly. Together, members take time to pause, look back over the previous month, and share moments big or small that have brought them joy. As part of their journey, the group is creating a beautiful scrapbook filled with joyful memories, gratitude reflections, and meaningful reminders of the positives in their lives. It’s a calm, uplifting space that encourages mindfulness, connection, and appreciation.

Befriending Programme
Our Befriending Service is open to women aged 18+ in the local community. The free service offers a bespoke, supportive programme tailored to individual needs.
Meeting at our Hub; up to eight sessions per referral, participants receive one-to-one support designed to build confidence, set goals, encourage friendships, and strengthen connections within the local community. The service also provides guidance and signposting to other local resources as needed. Women can self-refer, making it easy to access support and start building meaningful local connections.

Taking Care of Me - small group wellbeing programme
This programme is co-facilitated by our befriender, Lynda, who is available to provide additional one-to-one support where needed. Each week the women take part in a variety of activities to support good mental health, encourage peer support and connection. This offers a welcoming opportunity for women to explore what we provide at the hub within a smaller group setting.
